195 Mechanic Street
Nature of Work: New construction of 3-story, 46,000 square-foot mixed-use apartment and retail structure with 12,000 square-foot underground garage
Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire
Upon the start of the project, we immediately faced a challenge due to the unsuitable soils on the building site. Working closely with the Owner and his Architect and Engineer, a solution was quickly found. It was determined that the foundation had to be placed on piles.
Our Site Superintendent provided a detailed constructability review and was a key contributor to the value engineering effort, which resulted in significant savings to the Owner.
Architect: Mudge Greeley Architects, PLLC
