Woodstock Town Garage
Nature of Work: Construct a 75’ x 150’ steel-framed, pre-engineered Butler Manufacturing™ building with a 25’ x 100’ mezzanine.
Location: Woodstock, Vermont
Trumbull-Nelson and Banwell Architects completed work on a 75’ x 150’ steel-framed, pre-engineered Butler Manufacturing™ building with a 25’ x 100’ mezzanine for the Town of Woodstock, Vermont. Situated on a 25’ high, 10% slope, a lot of site work was required. Additionally, poor soils had to be removed and replaced.
Project challenges were readily overcome by the excellent teamwork and working relationship that existed with the Town, Trumbull-Nelson, Project consultants and subcontractors. All were responsive to the Project’s needs in a timely and pragmatic approach.
The new Town Garage is not only spacious, but carefully planned. Along with the orientation of the building making good use of the sun, other choices were made throughout the building process to ensure long-term efficiency.
