Nature of Work: 20,000 SF renovation and 9,250 SF addition to historic home dating from 1868 that serves as affordable housing. Project is subject to Davis-Bacon wage requirements and Section 3 reporting.

Development services were provided by Cathedral Square Corporation and other new funding was committed by USDA Rural Development, Vermont Housing and Conservation Board, Efficiency Vermont, Vermont Community Development Program, Commons Energy, 3E Thermal, The Town of Brattleboro, Vermont Community Loan Fund and private fundraising.
The historic home known as Bradley House was built in 1868. The development is a Level III Residential Care facility that serves seniors in need of a variety of services. The expansion increased the number of residents served from 28 to 36.
The Revival Project modernized the facility and increased its capacity, while remaining sensitive to its historic charm and beauty.
Work included the creation of a new, 9,250-square-foot addition with a dining room, commercial kitchen, and 7 additional resident rooms, each with a private bathroom.
Modernization of the Victorian mansion includes energy efficiency improvements and accessibility improvements throughout the building.
Approximately 13 parking spaces have been added, an expansion to the existing driveway, and new walkways.
