Nature of Work: Design and build a 94,000 SF Butler Manufacturing™ manufacturing area addition, and 26,000 SF office and lab space addition.

Trumbull-Nelson has completed numerous construction projects for New England Wire Technologies Corporation (NEWTC), the leading electric wire manufacturer of custom cables, litz wire, flat braided cable, high temperature electronic wire and multiconductor cable in the industry. Most recently, Trumbull-Nelson completed various projects including interior fit-up and roof work.

NEWTC, with the objective of doubling existing manufacturing capacity to help meet the needs of an increasingly global economy, needed to become efficient and to improve product flow. The Company had experienced rapid growth over the past few years, straining both the manufacturing process and their inventory control capabilities.
