Nature of Work: Main House: 4,675 SF of renovations, Guest House: 3,000 SF of new construction

Location: Sunapee, New Hampshire

Trumbull-Nelson was first contracted by the Owners to build a new guest home, featuring a cedar interior, a majestic barrel ceiling, commanding stone fireplace, and spacious kitchen with breakfast nook. 

Following that successful project, Trumbull-Nelson was again contracted to completely renovate the 100-year-old main house, offering five bedrooms, large living areas and lots of floor to ceiling windows with views of the lake. The kitchen has specialized dishwashers, ice maker and other appliances that make for easy lake living and entertaining. 

This magnificent one-of-a-kind estate sits on 1.7 acres on Lake Sunapee. A sandy shore and large wharf with a 2 1/2 slip deep water boathouse complete the amenities. The iconic boathouse, which the Owners hired Trumbull-Nelson to maintain, is a well-known landmark to Sunapee boaters.
