Centerra Tech Office Building

Nature of Work: New construction of a 58,000-square-foot, three-story brick and glass professional office building and completion of fit-ups for five separate building tenants.

Trumbull-Nelson Construction Company worked closely with Owner, Evergreen Capital Partners LLC to meet the objective to develop an economical, energy-efficient multi-tenant office building driven by existing marketplace demand. Working closely with Architect, Metz, Thornton & Smith and the Project engineers, the facility was delivered on time and budget, while successfully meeting the schedule and budget demands of five separate building tenants during the fit-up process.

A particular building challenge involved existing site conditions. The facility was built in a location that was a partial fill site, requiring excavation to native soil and placement of structural fill. Trumbull-Nelson worked closely with geotechnical engineers to develop an appropriate solution prior to installing foundations.
