On behalf
of Trumbull-Nelson, I would like to thank the
individuals, institutions and businesses that we
proudly served during the past year. The year 2002
offered our skilled personnel a variety of
construction challenges. During this past year, as
in the 85 preceding years, we have grown in levels
of experience and expertise. We continue to
appreciate the benefits associated with developing a
‘team’ approach, collaboration, and trust among all
project participants, and we enter 2003 with the
mind-set that our best work lies ahead. Although our
Company’s business relationships and community ties
are deep, we understand the important need to
continually earn client satisfaction and trust. It
is a resolution that we bring forward each new
business year.
Certainly, one principle remains unchanged, our
commitment to Safety. On any construction project,
nothing matters more than the safety of each and
every job participant. Trumbull-Nelson is firmly
committed to the belief that accident prevention is
an essential and vital ingredient of each and every
Project. Whenever safety courses are offered by such
organizations as the Safety and Health Council of
New Hampshire, or by the Vermont/New Hampshire
Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors
(ABC), Trumbull-Nelson enrolls as many of its
employees as is practical at the time. These courses
consider safety compliance and regulations, safety
planning and analysis, effective safety training,
and much more. Trumbull-Nelson’s Operations Manager,
Nate Carey, is currently in the process of becoming
trained and authorized by OSHA to teach a 10-hour
OSHA Standards certification course.
Trumbull-Nelson is participating on many building
projects this winter. Our workload includes such
Projects as the Stratton Mountain Clubhouse, in
Stratton Mountain, Vt; renovation and additions to
the Thetford Elementary School, in Thetford, Vt;
renovation work on the Newport Courthouse, in
Newport, NH; construction of the Senior/Community
Center, additions/renovations to the St. Thomas
Episcopal Church and additions/renovations to Our
Savior Lutheran Church, all in Hanover, NH; as well
as various other projects located throughout the
Region. The cover of our Winter 2003 Constructive
Images Magazine features the recently completed
Riverglen House, an assisted-living community
located in Littleton, NH. We extend our thanks to
Mr. Jason Purdy, and the J.E. Purdy Company, and its
design team, McKenzie Associates for the opportunity
to serve as Construction Manager for this
challenging and unique Project.
We hope that you enjoy our Winter 2003 edition of
Constructive Images magazine. If we can help you
with any upcoming building projects in the months
ahead, please let us know.
Sincerely,
