Trumbull-Nelson Set to Begin Multi-Million Dollar Lyndon Waste Water Treatment Facility Upgrade

June 23, 2011, LYNDONVILLE, VT - Trumbull-Nelson Construction Company was recently awarded the Lyndon Waste Water Treatment Facility Upgrade Project contract for $3.9 million.  Trumbull-Nelson will be working closely with Leach Engineering Consultants to oversee the projects successful completion.

The Lyndon Waste Water Treatment Facility Upgrade will enable the plant to operate more effectively and to maintain compliance with its State operating permit.  The approved waste water treatment plant upgrade will include adding a 42,000 gallon holding tank and a septic holding system.  Upgrades to the existing facility include construction of several new buildings: electrical/control, blower, waste sludge transfer, septage receiving, and dewatered sludge storage buildings.  When the upgrade of the facility is complete, the waste water treatment facility will probably not need another upgrade for up to 20 years.
