I-91 Southbound Hartford
Information Center
Construction of the new I-91 Southbound Hartford Information Center is progressing to meet an end of year completion. The 5,000 square foot facility will offer visitors information, traffic news and rest rooms. The Project includes a significant amount of site work related to parking requirements, and highway access.

Traffic circulation and safety of access is paramount in such a Center. David Rising is providing onsite supervision, and Anthony Instasi is Trumbull-Nelson’s Project Manager for the work.
“The sitework consists of modifications to the existing ramps, parking areas and stamped concrete sidewalks,” Instasi recently commented. “The new building will be a masonry block structure with brick veneer, arched beams around the fascia, and post and beam trusses, he adds.
Ed Clark of Rutland-based NBF Architects designed the building.
