From the President

Larry Ufford, President, Trumull-NelsonWe’d like to welcome readers to our Fall 2011 Edition of the Trumbull-Nelson Newsletter. As of this writing, we are finally enjoying more typically seasonal weather patterns. Certainly we are saddened by the losses suffered by so many within the Upper Valley community, and throughout areas of Vermont and New Hampshire, as a result of weather-related damage from Tropical Storm Irene. As resources allow, we are reaching out to our neighbors to help in this time of need.A list of hurricane relief volunteer opportunities is offered within this newsletter if you would like to help.

Although business challenges related to the economic slowdown remain, Trumbull-Nelson is fully committed to pro-actively moving forward, and to position the Company for growth and organizational success. In this regard, we recently opened a new office, in Montpelier, VT, and have also created a new division with a strict focus on Utility work. This comes upon the heels of successful projects for the municipalities of Hartford, Vermont, and for Colebrook and Bow, New Hampshire. We also recently started a wastewater treatment project in Lyndon, Vermont and a water treatment project in Vergennes, Vermont.

We hope you enjoy our current newsletter. Give us a call if we can help you with your current or anticipated building needs.

Sincerely,

Larry Ufford
President, Trumbull-Nelson
