Nearly 85 percent of the projects undertaken by Trumbull-Nelson are negotiated, utilizing the Construction Management project delivery system, which emphasizes the Team approach to the construction process.
Under this system, Owner, Architect, Subcontractors and Construction Manager work together from project conception to completion, with the common goal of providing maximum value in a friendly, cooperative manner.


Construction Management Construction Management (CM) is a method of construction project organization that varies from the traditional Owner-Architect-Contractor arrangement in that it encourages a team approach to the project organization, versus the possible adversarial relationships found in more traditional project organization. As Construction Managers, Trumbull-Nelson has completed a variety of commercial, institutional, industrial and residential projects during its 90 years of service to northern New England clients. A few examples of projects where Trumbull-Nelson served as CM include: Harvest Hill Independent and Assisted-Living Retirement Community, Howe Library, New England Electric Wire Company, Richard W. Black Community and Senior Center and the Robert Mesropian Center for Community Care.
General Contracting As a General Contractor, Trumbull-Nelson employs an experienced work force which has the ability to self-perform many categories of the work on any given project. Our Company is capable of performing, with our own forces, tasks such as sitework and excavation, concrete, steel erection, carpentry, millwork, drywall and painting.

	Design/Build Trumbull-Nelson is recognized as a leader in the Upper Valley and northern New England for our Design/Build capabilities. We provide engineering services supported by full CAD capabilities.For over 20 years, Trumbull-Nelson has been an authorized dealer for Butler Manufacturing Company, a leader in pre-engineered building systems. We have constructed nearly one million square feet of Butler products throughout New Hampshire and Vermont.

Millwork Trumbull-Nelson Construction Company maintains a fully-equipped and staffed Millwork Shop, capable of fabricating finished millwork products to the highest quality standard and the most stringent specifications.

	Painting In order to better serve the constant demand of smaller jobs and self-performed finish work, we maintain an experienced painting crew throughout the year. Additionally, we are equipped with a spray booth for pre-finished millwork, doors and other woodwork.

Butler Manufacturing Company As a regional distributor for Butler Manufacturing Company since 1982, the Company has acquired a great deal of experience with pre-engineered buildings in both conventional and design/build applications. Butler's position as the leader in the industry nicely complements Trumbull-Nelson's experience and craftsmanship.

	Concrete Division/Concrete Stamping Trumbull-Nelson's Concrete Division is now offering a decorative stamping process to its list of services. In addition to the Company's work involving home foundations, retaining wall and other residential and commercial project requirements, Division personnel can now work with customers to create uniquely designed pool decks, patios and courtyards using stamped concrete to resemble bricks, slate, field stone, tile and wood. Generally, the size and shape of the pattern is no problem. 	Home Projects Group Our Company started its life as a homebuilder in 1917 and over time has completed a wide range of large and small residential projects. In recent years, Trumbull-Nelson, working closely with various development concerns whose focus includes healthcare, education and retirement housing, continues its residential building tradition. The Company is well-equipped to meet the resource needs of larger projects, and to also take on the challenges presented by smaller building requirements. Trumbull-Nelson maintains a core of individual carpenters and craftsmen focused on performing such tasks. Within the Company, a growing Home Projects Group, led by Jim Forcier, is handling everything from kitchen renovations to building additions, with the same level of quality expected in every Trumbull-Nelson project. The Home Projects Group is equipped to handle all your residential building and renovation needs. Recently completed projects have included kitchen and bathroom renovations, porch additions, interior and exterior painting, chimney and foundation repair.
