Initiate any conversation with Ed about the business and you soon become aware of his sharp, practical knowledge of construction matters; perhaps the result of his 8 solid years of field experience. You may also suspect that Grantham, NH, where he resides with his wife Denise, and two children, Phoebe and Sam, is not his original place of birth. His accent suggests years spent outside of the Upper Valley and New England. In fact, Ed’s friendly disposition, accommodating nature and strong work ethic may be partially the result of his solid Morganfield, Kentucky roots. There, he grew up with the benefit of a very large extended family. He admits that Buckman family reunions are truly an event, and provide the opportunity to see dozens (and dozens!) of relations. And being a part of such a large family may, in fact, provided Ed with an effective communication training ground. To Ed, meeting and developing working relationships with a variety of project-related people is an interesting and integral part of his work. And he’s good at it! Ed’s friendly disposition, accommodating nature and strong work ethic may be partially the result of his solid Morganfield, Kentucky roots. Ed’s field expertise and friendly demeanor has earned him the respect of fellow employees and Trumbull-Nelson clients. His disciplined work effort may be the partial result of his involvement in the Marine Corp from 1988-1992 (and experience within the Gulf War). Along the way, he has developed and refined those skills that help him to coordinate the completion of site division tasks with other T-N project responsibilities; a capa-city that is crucial to meeting budget and schedule requirements. Ed enjoys the outdoors and outdoor recreational activities. One of Ed’s more interesting hobbies involves refurbishing antique tractors and machinery. And the kids keep him and Denise busy…Phoebe with dance and flute lessons, and Sam, being a pre-schooler. And there’s always a building project or two around the house waiting to get done. The Trumbull-Nelson organization is proud of the work accomplished by Ed, and his Site Division crew. When a job requires earthmoving, we are grateful to have a man of Ed’s experience, commitment to quality and work ethic to accomplish the task. |
