    Community-Minded Construction

Founded in 1917, Trumbull-Nelson has been serving New Hampshire and Vermont clients for nearly a century.

Our company has grown from its beginnings as a builder of fine homes in the Hanover, New Hampshire area to become the Upper Valley’s largest Construction Services firm, specializing in all types of institutional, commercial, industrial, and residential construction.

Through the time-honored approach of delivering personal and professional service with integrity, we have become one of northern New England’s most respected construction companies.

The picture at left shows the present Rockingham Town Hall located in Bellows Falls, Vermont. The building was constructed in 1926, and designed by the Hanover-based firm of Larson & Wells.

This was the first major municipal project in Vermont for the 9-year old W.H. Trumbull Company. However, it was not the first collaboration between W.H. Trumbull Company and Larson & Wells. The two firms worked together on the Hanover, New Hampshire Elementary School in 1924. The pair teamed up again for a construction project in 1928 for the Hanover, New Hampshire Municipal Building.
